Politico-Economic Relations and Social Patterns Evolution between China and CEE by 2030 (Trends, Interactions, Variables, Engagement, Scenarios) – PERSPECTIVES 2030
The PERSPECTIVES 2030 project forecasts trends and interactions between China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries through 2030. It examines political, economic, social, and diplomatic dimensions, analyzing CEE engagements with China. Using Delphi sessions, media sentiment analysis, expert workshops, and policy recommendations, the project adopts a multidisciplinary approach to provide strategic insights. It aims to shape Sino-CEE relations by offering innovative scenarios and practical guidance for policymakers and stakeholders in the evolving geopolitical landscape. The project is implemented by the Institute of International Politics and Economics from Belgrade, Serbia.
We will deploy Delphi as a structured forecasting technique using expert consensus through iterative surveys, refining opinions until a reliable conclusion of China-CEE interactions emerges.
We will analyze sentiment in CEE media using natural language processing to assess public opinion, identify trends, and evaluate market impact.
We will analyze trends in Chinese and CEE societies to anticipate social, economic, and cultural developments, providing insights into future dynamics.
Through Dialogues on China, one of Europe's largest China studies conferences, and two workshops, we will promote Sino-CEE relations and build a network of esteemed experts.
We will conduct tailored analyses of micro-regions in the Baltics, Balkans, and Visegrad Group countries, providing deep insights into micro-regional dynamics.
Our team will provide actionable policy recommendations based on in-depth analysis, offering strategic guidance for decision-makers in key sectors.
